“I will always be thankful for the friends who have loved me at my best and loved me at my worst.
I will always be thankful for the ones who have sat with me in my messes while tears and snot ran down my face. There was nothing pretty or comfortable about that, but still they stayed.
I will always be thankful for the ones who walked with me through seasons of bad anxiety and panic attacks. I couldn’t find the light, so they sat with me in the dark. I’ll never forget it.
I will always be thankful for the ones who have come to my house when it was covered in toys, clothes, and crumbs and not blinked twice.
I will always be thankful for the friends who have loved me in every season, because God knows I’ve had a few rough ones.
I’m no expert, but I think friendship grows in those hard places in ways that it can’t in the easy places.
Friends, you know who you are and I’m just so grateful for you.
