What inspires you to get of of bed each morning?

As a Forty Plusser there are days (several actually…) that I don’t have the strength to get up in the morning. Yes, this groggy feeling… It’s kind of like I have no inspiration for the day. Why am I so tired? Why does my body feels that I ran a marathon? Aces and pains everywhere. Emotionally drained. Well, I cannot always explain it.
It’s a fact! Sleep directly influence everything else we do when we are awake.
This is me in the morning:

Them: “What inspires you to get up in the morning”. Me: “My bladder mostly”.

We are all messing with our inner body clock: Staying up very late on weekends. Scrolling on you cellphone, tablet just before going to bed – you might be already aware that your screen time interferes with your sleep. “Sleep expert Professor Gringras was calling for a sleep mode on our devices as the blue light emitted from our screens disrupts melatonin production in our brains – the chemical that helps us nod off”.

If you wake up, get up!!

Below is a list of possible explanations for waking up tired in the morning.

  • Sleeping too much! Yes too much! Can you believe it?
  • Walking in your sleep.
  • Teeth grinding.
  • Restless leg syndrome.
  • Blue light from electronic devices.
  • Sleep apnea.
  • Insomnia.
  • Too much caffeine

  1. What do u do when u cannot go to sleep? I have closed my eye almost 2 hours ago and now I m reading the blog. I must sleep


    1. The more I try to sleep, the less I am able to sleep. I usually go to the kitchen to eat… 🙄😉
