As a Forty Plusser I am blessed with two amazing children. I must firstly admit that beiing a mother can sometimes be extremely challenging. It is during times like this that I really solute my mother!! How dit she manage to do it?? She had to make many sacrifies in her life for the sake of motherhood! I know that my mom is irreplaceable. Moms are really special. Like as in REALLY. Appreciate your mom. Tell her you love her!

A while back, on my mother’s birthday, I wrote this poem for her. I think that we all can relate.

If anyone ever wanted to as me:

What kind of person is your mother?

I can undoubtedly say:

The best mom any child could have!

A mother who’s always there for you

Someone you can completely trust

A mother that comforts me when I feel sad

Someone who believes that everything happens for a good reason.

Mom is like a rock that stands firm

Always filled with wisdom

A mother is someone who shares your joy

and nothing is ever too much for her

A mother is someone who you can always be proud of

So calm and without fear.

We can always ask her for advice

And know that she will never let us down.

Mom, I know you all these years

Through fights, happiness and tears

Four foundation stands on solid pillars:

Power, love, courage and perseverance

You have the ability to accomplish the impossible

May you cup overflows with happiness

Cheers to all the Mothers!!!

This interesting and quite facinating words gives me the chills. This poster is displayed on the bathroom door in my friend’s house. It is so beautiful that I want to cry everytime I read it:

Wisdom: “Roses are red
violets are blue
There is no one dearer
than a Mom like you!”.
Kate Summers

Wisdom: “She (mother) pushed us to always try harder, to want the best out of our lives, and to always be strong – a lesson she was forced to learn herself when we were all still young”. Willie Davis, Closing the Gap

  2. Pain and joy work; hand-in-hand. But the joy of motherhood, is after all this sacrifice; one will transform that cute little children into a responsible child in future. The love of a mother is greater 😍
