As a Forty Plusser you realize that you just know certain stuff.
You take the good; you take the bad; you take them both—and there you have “The Facts of Life”. Not everything in this world is black or white. When it comes to truth, or what’s right or wrong, there’s a lot of grey areas.
As a woman in my forties – I just know – there are kinds of truth in life that you cannot deny!
What I also know, is that I am happier being alone with myself.
Some facts I know for sure:
*What goes around, comes around.
*There is no guarantee – that even if you work hard for a particular goal – you will achieve that goal. But try anyway!!
*A mother cannot get sick!! (Not entitled to sick leave).
*The biggest lie a tell myself: I don’t need to write it down on a post it note…I will remember it… NOT!
*You cannot restart or delete your life but you can reset it.
*Life will provide you with lemons. whether you juice them or throw them is your choice.
*Your actions speak louder than your words.
*Money can’t buy you happiness.
*You have never met anyone who is exactly like you. Yet, you need food, water, oxygen, and relationships just like everyone else…
*Basically our mind knows the reality but our heart is unable to accept it and it might even take a lifetime to accept because it.
*Never go back to what broke you, because what broke you can never fix you.
* Don’t trust those monsters faces behind friendly faces. Two faced people nonsense!!
*Sometimes words heal better than any medicine.
*You never know when your last day on this earth will be, So my suggestion is to live each day with keeping that in mind.
Wisdom: “Remember that we’re living in a place that is temporary. No matter what you believe in the end of time I don’t care about it. As of now.. live your life, cut those negative thoughts and actions, reach your dreams and goals.”
